1:1 Support (Learning Disabilities) - Poppy Homecare

Poppy Homecare support adults with learning disabilities, physical disabilties and autism.  They offer a wide range of individually tailored care packages to support day to day living tasks, such as shopping or going out or for more complex needs, where perhaps there is specialist input required. Examples include:

Practical Care

  • Household chores
  • Support for outings and holidays
  • Help with accessing the community
  • Domestic tasks, such as cooking a meal
  • Escorts for college or work placements
  • Advice and support on active and healthy choices
  • Coping with transition
  • Direct payments or self-directed care advice

 

Personal Care

  • Help with bath and Showering
  • Medication Assistance
  • Dressing/undressing
  • Night care

 

Holidays

  • They can also source and arrange short breaks and holidays including carers both in the UK and abroad.
