Cinema - Community Cinema - Moorflix

Moorflix was setup in June 2010 (originally as Temple Community Cinema) to show quality films to the South Midlothian community. It is a non-profit making organisation run by volunteers.

They show films once or twice a month from September to June, with one-off films and children’s matinees every so often.

Moorflix began in Temple Village Hall and still tend to show most films at Temple. However they also try and select the best suited films for the audiences at Carrington and North Middleton. They would like Moorflix to increase the showings in Carrington and North Middleton and would encourage anyone in those areas to contact us to help choose films show their and help out on show nights.

The filmgoers regularly stay behind at each showing to chat and socialise which makes this more than a night at the movies. Free to attend but donations suggested.
