Lothiansound Talking Newspaper

Lothiansound Talking Newspaper

This is a free service for people who are blind, partially sighted or no longer able to read the newspaper.

They provide a weekly recording of the local news read mainly from the Edinburgh Evening News and a monthly recording of articles from The Magazine. These are posted out on a memory stick and they can even provide you with players as well! The service was founded in 1988 and is run entirely by volunteers.

They also record the Festival Theatre brochures on audio.
