Free Storytelling for Deaf children - Sat 20th June

Event for children aged 3-8

Mattress! Mattress! The Story of the Princess & The Pea – funny family puppet show featuring sign language to re-tell this classic story.

Each deaf child will be entitled to a free ticket to the show, as well as 2 complimentary tickets for guardians/friends/siblings (please note that children will remain the responsibility of their parent/guardian throughout the event and no child may attend without at least one adult guardian).

There will be an opportunity for those who wish to buy additional tickets to the show (subject to availability at the closing date for the event).  Should you wish to purchase additional tickets, a space is provided on the application form for completion.

Refreshments and a chance to socialise with other families will be provided to all those attending as part of our group, free of charge in the cafe at the venue after the show.

 

When? Sat 20th June, 2pm-4pm

Where will it be? The Scottish Storytelling Centre, 43-45 High Street Edinburgh EH1 1SR

What will happen? A representative from the East of Scotland Deaf Children’s Society will be at the venue to meet you and issue your tickets for the show (from 1.30). Families will attend the show and have the option of meeting in the designated area of the cafe for refreshments after the show (from 2.50pm).
