Dementia Friendly performance of La Traviata - 17th Nov

Dementia Friendly opera This specially-created performance of La traviata is a fully-staged, shortened version of the show. The Orchestra of Scottish Opera, a full cast of singers and a narrator lead you through the story and some of the best-loved music from the opera. Lighting levels in the auditorium are slightly brighter, and you can come in and out of the auditorium during the performance, or watch in the foyer on TV screens if you prefer.   La traviata In the underworld of late 19th century Paris, Violetta and Alfredo fall in love. Afredo’s father, however, convinces Violetta to end the relationship, believing that her reputation will destroy her son’s future. Violetta reluctantly agrees, but when Alfredo finally discovers the truth, will it be too late?
